We’ve just launched our new Mobile Shop, where you can purchase and download wallpapers and ringtones for your favorite teams and players. You’ll find the official logos and uniform graphics for all 30 teams, plus some sweet vintage logos like the 1908 Cubs Championship banner and the always classic Brooklyn Dodgers logo. There’s also a great selection of Topps Baseabll Card graphics. So whether you’re rooting for Papi, Pronk (that’s "Half Prospect-Half Donkey" Travis Haffner if you haven’t been paying attention to Fox’s ALCS broadcasts), or NLCS MVP Matt Holliday, we’ve got you covered.
We’ve also increased our handset support, so you’ll find content for the most popular phones on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Unfortunately, we can’t offer anything for the iPhone until our friends in Cupertino decide to support the WAP Push open standard, dowloadable content and 3rd party ringtone support. But for the rest of you, we’ll be adding new content throughout the postseason and offseason so check out http://mshop.mlb.com and come back often. And if there are any features we’re missing or content you’d like to see, leave us a comment.
We just released the MLB.com Desktop Icon for Blackberry(TM) devices, a downloadable app that adds an MLB icon to your device which takes you to the MLB.com Mobile Web site with a single click.
To download the icon directly to your device "over the air", open your Blackberry’s browser and go o to wap.mlb.com. A link should be visible at the top of the page that will take you to a download page with instructions. You can also skip the main page and go directly to wap.mlb.com/blackberry.
We do not charge any fee or subscription to download this app, though you will be responsible for any data or voice fees that your carrier charges you for accessing data on your device. Consult your carrier for more info.
Another helpful hint for Blackberry(TM) users: To get the best experience of the MLB.com Mobile Web site on your Blackberry(TM), we recommend enabling support for HTML tables & style sheets in your browser. Doing this will result in a cleaner and prettier display of things like the box score and team logos.
To make sure these settings are enabled,
1. On the handset’s Home screen, click the Blackberry Browser icon.
2. Click the trackwheel, then select Options.
3. Select Browser Configuration.
4. To enable or disable support for these features, check the appropriate checkbox:
a) To enable support for HTML tables, make sure the Support HTML Tables check box is checked. If it is not, click the checkbox, then click Change Option.
b) To enable support for style sheets, make sure the Support Style Sheets check box is checked. If it is not, click the checkbox, then click Change Option.
5. To save your changes, click the trackwheel, then click Save Options.
Consult your user manual for more information on these settings and how to change them.

Welcome to the MLB.com/Mobile Blog!
This is our space to tell you about new products and features, update you on service issues, and ruminate from time to time on things mobile and baseball. It’s also your space to tell us what you like (and don’t like) about our products, how we can improve them, and generally how you want to experience baseball on your mobile device.
We’ve been extremely busy this offseason – tomorrow’s post will talk about a few of the many new products and features we’ve launched. In the meantime you can always check them out for yourself on our new, improved Web site at MLB.com/Mobile.
And remember – any time you need the latest score and schedule info, just go to wap.mlb.com on your mobile phone’s browser and select "Scores", or just text your team’s name to 65246 (MLBGO). Standard text messaging and data rates apply, but there’s no signup required and no subscription fees.
